The programme, which started in May 2021, took place both online and on-site at the University of Malmö. “Malmo University is one of the highest rated universities in our region and we are therefore particularly pleased that we have been selected for the programme. Since the group consisted of experts in their field in Sweden, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania and Moldova, we also received valuable contacts from the future partners in the public sector as well as in the third sector,” said Nagel. “For example, the head of the Ukrainian direction of KRUK, Sofia Kostytska, joined us through this programme.” The aim of the programme, organised by SI in cooperation with the University of Malmö, is to share Sweden’s experience of sustainable public governance with partner countries. The course dealt with public administration, governance, transparency, governance, gender equality and public sector ethics.
